PARALLEL KEYS

Tight parallel keys serve to joint spline shafts with hubs, using splineways, which are milled into both shafts and hubs. Parallel keys are then inserted into the splineways, which produces a very strong joint between the shaft and the hub, which, however, can easily be taken apart at any time.

TIGHT PARALLEL KEYS

a) with width limit deviation e 7 or h 9 ČSN 02 2562 (following DIN 6885 T1)
We manufacture square and rectangular sections outlines 2 x 2 (both width and height limit deviations h 9) up to 50 (width limit deviation h 9) x 28 (height limit deviations h 11); tight parallel keys with width limit deviation e 7, based on the measurement of the original key steel and on an agreement with the customer.

b) straight sunk key ČSN 30 1382 (following standard DIN 6885 T1)
We manufacture these only in accordance with standard ČSN 30 1382.12, where digit 1 after the decimal point indicates drawn steel 11 600 according to ČSN 41 1600 and digit 2 indicates the limit deviation of the parallel key's width in h 9. These parallel keys are manufactured in sizes from 4 x 4 (both width and height limit deviations h 9), square sections up to size 22 (width limit deviation h 9) x 14 (height limit deviation h 11) according to standard ČSN 30 1382 in sizes 2 x 2.3 x 3.4 x 4 and lengths from 6.5 to 9.5 for splineway length 8 and 10. Straight sunk keys according to standard ČSN 30 1382.11, e.g. with width limit deviation e 7 are manufactured only after the measurement of the original key steel and after an agreement with the customer.
